Connections are mysterious. Mine with you is several times removed through anonymous connections beginning with one of your families, extending through a grandmother, through memories of 49 years, my fond recollection of her and an affection for people I do not know, but whose Christian "calling" is important to me. The Spirit, I suspect. God Bless you all.

Has your congregation ever been tempted to sing the old shape note hymns of the 19th century? You probably have some of the music and verse in your hymn books.

Let every kindred, every tribe,
On this terretrial ball,
To him all majesty ascribe,
And crown him Lord of all.

Oh that, with yonder sacred throng,
We at his feet may fall!
We'll join the everlasting song,
And crown him Lord of all.

OR: Do you sing Christian gosepl and pop? Or all possible combinations?

And: Eucharist every Sunday?

Dear friend,

Yes, the Spirit does have a way of weaving our stories together in mysterious ways!

We have communion /Lord's Supper every Sunday.

We sing the new stuff (see our web site for samples). Generally, we include a (refreshed) hymn or two in our music sets each Sunday. Beginning in September, we will be having a "Hymn Sing" once a month on Sunday afternoons.

Drop in on us sometime!
